Heart Shaped Confetti
Heart Shaped Confetti is Via Fucina’s debut album.
It’s a leap without a safety net into the contradictions of an inner world. The band explores anger, intimacy, and disillusionment, but also collectivity and immediacy. Each track is a fragment, crumbs of comfort, shards of rage, and flashes of everyday revolutions. Camille Santacroce’s voice and lyrics act as a guiding thread: an honest form of writing that embraces emotions without smoothing them over.
Recorded in Berlin in June 2025 at the legendary Hansa Studio with Nanni Johansson, Heart Shaped Confetti is the result of meticulous collective work. Almost the entire album was recorded live, including several fully improvised pieces. The band was committed to preserving the raw energy and alchemy of their collective playing by favoring simultaneous recording over fragmented production techniques.
This approach reflects one of Via Fucina’s founding principles: to make music a space of freedom, listening, and genuine interaction between the five musicians.
